DAY57

Well today was the first day of phase 3!!! I didn't do any of the p90x workouts during the off week but I did run a 5k on 4 days. Chest and back was brutal. I had to push myself extra hard because I wanted to get to what my numbers were at the end of week 3. diet is perfect

DAY 36!!!

I am really slacking on this blog. oh well. today started week 6 after my restart of week 5. I am feeling great. Chest shoulders and tris wasnt too bad today, and i am starting to love this routine. I am also seeing more results. I am down to 171 today after starting P90x at 178. I have confidence like i've never had before and feel great! and its not even the halfway point yet. I am excited. Tomorrow is my last final and I have 2 weeks off from school. i am really gonna amp up the cardio and beach .pool time. I am also greatly considering adding a heavy lifting day, on saturdays perhaps, to help with lean muscle addition.

DAYS 31 and 32

So yesterday was my first day of back.biceps and i like it. It really worked my arms and the variations of pullups are actually bearable. today i did plyo and absolutely killed it!! Ipushed myself harder than I have in plyo, even did a set of extras, and still wasn't real tired. results my friend... So I'm in the 52 Dc right now and so far so good. dollar Yuenglings may derail me tonight, but I planned for 3 or 4 in my diet today. Tomorrow is ABs that i didn't do today and also legs back. Its gonna be rough doing legs following plyo day but we will see.

Day 30

today is my repeat day 30. I have tweaked the workout schedule some more. Today I will do Yoga X instead of my usual tuesday plyo. tuesday night is the one of the best nights to go up to the gym and play basketball. Last week I played 2 hours of basketball after plyo and it really messed up my leg for a day. So I'll switch them around, no big deal. Yesterday's chest/shoulders/tris was great. I brought intensity to every exercise and even pushed out a few one arm pushups, something I didn't even attempt last week.Diet is strong and tomorrow starts the 52DC. I'm stoked!

ok starting phase 2 over

ok so this week I was good with my workouts but went home for the weekend and my diet wasn't so great-- easter dinner. I also missed Back/biceps on wednesday. After careful consideration I feel this isn't what I should be doing to start phase 2 of p90x. I have decided to start phase 2 over this week and BRING IT! I'm meaning diet perfect and hitting every workout with great intensity. I am starting the Spring 52 day challenge on Wednesday which will help me to stay accountable for my diet. I'm going to find out what I'm made of the next two weeks. I also have about 8 tests/finals in the next 2 weeks so it'll be a challenge. I am feeling good and will try to track my progress on here everyday!!

Phase2 Day1--- Day 29

ok so i'm back following the off week at the end of phase 1. I did alot of cardio in the off week but wasn't too dedicated. today starts phase 2. Chest, Shoulders, and triceps is HARD. I won't lie. I did 0 one arm pushups and am kind of let down about that. It is a great workout though and I'm am hitting phase 2 full steam ahead!! I'll probly go to the gym and run 5 kilos today. I feel i should up my cardio more just to help aid the fat loss.tomorrow is my favorite- plyometrics

Day 23

ok so I've been slacking on my blog. but not slacking too bad on my p90x! I missed friday's workout and did legs and back today. Tomorrow is the first day of rest week. I will throw in about 3 days of cardio outside of the p90x plan during rest week. I can't wait to do the new workout Core synergistics, i hear its real good

Day 15+day 16

Day 15- Today It was back to chest and back and while I improved my numbers in the first round, I was spent when the 2nd round came along and just about ran out of gas on the Dive-bomber pushups. I hate those so much. That was the last of Chest/back for a few weeks... just when i start to get good at it.

Day 14- Two week recap

Well today was Day 14 of the program. I did Stretch X today and it kind of made me more sore than I already was. So basically I've done the workouts religiously but my diet hasn't been as good as it should. Spring break really threw me off, but it was only 1 week out of 13, so I can still make up for it. I had half of a Stephano's pizza tonight and thats it for a long time. Im starting to see the beginning of good muscle definition, and I feel like in a few weeks I will start getting really good results. I think the hardest workout is chest/back, altho I am getting much better and can do more pullups than ever! I am proud that I've stuck it out these two weeks and can't wait to hit it super hard this week since next week is a week off. After that, the routines change and i'm excited. I think I'm gonna start adding a couple of running days into my routine. I feel as if i'm not getting enough cardio in, plus extra cardio esp HIIT will help get leaner quicker while building muscle. I will probly do running on my yoga and kenpo days. Physically, I feel amazing. Also, I uploaded the shoulder/arms video to my phone so I can take it to the gym and use dumbbells for it since I believe they will work me better than the bands. So bring on week 3, I'm going to crush it!!

Day 13 Kenpo/Ab ripperX

So Ab ripper is getting a little too easy for me... so I added 5 reps to everything, which is an extra 55 reps and it was great, my abs are pretty sore today. I also did Kenpo Karate for the 2nd time and it went much better than the 1st. I actually was halfway coordinated and didn't fall down. I feel like I could keep kicking stuff all day long...

Day 12- almost 2 weeks in!

wow legs.back day, ridiculous. Nothing made me want to do the next set of pullups like the minute and a half wall squat. I really pushed myself today, crushing my numbers from last week. it felt great! Im glad because I have a karate day tomorrow and a stretch day sunday and am looking forward to them. Im trying to tweak my diet more, the past few days I have eaten well but not as good as I can, that needs to be my main focus now that I've got the workouts down.

Days 9and 10

Yesterday was extreme. I did p90x , kinda dogged it near the end though, meaning skipped the bonus round. I went and played bballfor 1 1/2 hours and it was rough. The rest of the day was drinking for st pattys.

did 2nd round of arms today. i am really considering switching to dumbbells after  round 3. the bands work well but for better results i may switch

DAY8!

ok so yesterday started my 2nd week of p90x. it was chest/back and it worked me... I put up better numbers in some exercises and less in others which made me mad. It was much more extreme this week, but i felt great after! I headed to tally today and played an hour of basketball and it pushed me to the brink. I was already tired from the workout and bball took alot out of me.

Day 6!

So today was Kenpo dayKenpo was kind of hard, i found i am very uncoordinated. I just about fell on one of the jab/uppercut/kick combos. I'm gonna hit that shit strong next saturday. I was gonna put abs off until tomorrow but I was sitting at the computer and felt the absolute need to do it. So i totally killed ab ripper X. Its getting easier, I'm gonna start adding reps to the sets soon. tomorrow if off day. I need it because monday is gonna hurt. My diet was ok today. i ate well except for a fat homewrecker at moes.

day 5

ok so legs and back... raped me. an hour of lunges squats and pullups sucks.i made it through. the first day of a routine i always feel is slack because i'm learning the form, next week imma kill it!!

Day 4 for thursday

So today was a little slack. Partied and drank alot last night. no excuses though. Today was my yoga/abs day. Well I absolutely killed ab ripper. Its getting easier and i even through in some extras at the end! I didn't do yoga but am gonna move it to my rest day, sunday.

Day 3- shoulders/arms

So today was day 3 of p90x. I'm enjoying it so far. I did the shoulders/arms workout today and it wasnt too bad. i almost feel that my biceps don't get a good workout with the resistance bands, but I'll do it next week with the bands and make a decision to change to dumbbells for that workout. My diet is so far so good. I am allowing having 4-5 beers into my daily caloric intake. I am only drinking bud select or mich ultra. 100 cals a beer equals an extra 400 cals that I can fit into my diet. I figure if thats the only bad thing I take in and try to eat clean 85% of the time, I should be good. tomorrow is yoga/abs. I am kind of dreading yoga because it is an hour and a half long. I'm gonna stick it out though, it should be fun. I am still pretty sore from chest/back on tuesday and sore from plyo yesterday... Friday is legs back and it may just kill me!!

Day2

Today was day 2 of p90x and I'm loving it. Today I started with ab ripper ( and totally killed it without stopping, i might add) then proceded into Plyo X. Plyo was rough. I've done this plyo workout a couple times before, so i knew what to expect. Those damn mary catherine lunges and leap frog squats killed me! Its a burn, but a good burn. Plyo X, I hate it, but I love it....

Day 1

So today i started P90x. I decided to move the ab ripper sessions to tues/thurs/sat.  just because I have more time on those days. so today was only chest/back. It really was a killer workout. i made it through without stopping which made me feel good. tomorrow is plyo/abs. Im gonna be dead!!

P90x day 1

Well today I plan on starting p90x. I just recently downloaded the videos so I'll give it a try. I'm doing this while also doing my 52 DC, so I believe that will help to keep my diet in check. I will do my best to post after every workout with results!!!
